Audiovisual Equipment / Speakers Service Center (SSC)
The Speakers Service Centre (SSC) is centrally located on the ground level of the Austria Center Vienna (please refer to the overview).
All lecture halls will be equipped with a PC and a data projector for PowerPoint presentations only. Presentations must be handed in via floppy disk, CD-ROM, zip drive, memory stick or via your own laptop before your lecture.
It is essential for the smooth running of the congress that all speakers hand in their PowerPoint presentations at least one hour before the beginning of the session. Enough time must be allowed to check the presentation carefully and for the staff to enter the data into the system. Speakers will have the opportunity to check their presentations on PCs available in the SSC.
Poster Production Service
Have your poster professionally printed and delivered on-site!
In order to do so, please go to the Call4Poster website. While being in Vienna, you may fetch your poster at the poster desk situated at the entrance of the poster exhibition area (Hall Y, Blue Level).
Publication/CD-ROM
All accepted abstracts will be published as an electronic supplement to Clinical Microbiology and Infection (CMI), the official journal of ESCMID. All accepted abstracts will be made available to the participants on CD-ROM only which is sponsored by MSD. No abstract book will be printed, however a second CD, sponsored by Novartis, containing most of the full posters will be produced.

Posters will be displayed for one full day. Authors are requested to be present at their poster during the whole time of the poster presentation and to mount and remove their posters at the above-mentioned times.
Posters that have not been removed by the author at 18.00 (Saturday 19.00) are removed and disposed of by congress staff.
