Manual Registration Processing Surcharge

Registrations received by fax, mail or email are subject to an administration surcharge of EUR 20. Therefore, we encourage you to use the online registration system that is safe, quick and easy and also gives you an immediate confirmation along with the invoice.

Visa / Invitation Letter

Requests for invitation letters can only be processed after you registered and paid for your conference participation in full!

Group registration

In order to make a group registration please complete the group registration form. On this form you can enter all participants’ information together with their postal address and contact details. Please note that the complete individual addresses (hospital, department, street name and number, postal code, city, country and personal email address) are needed of each participant.

What is included?

The registration fee for participants includes admission to all parts of the congress, congress bag, Final Programme, Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception. The registration fee for accompanying persons includes the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception. Meals are not included in your 22nd ECCMID registration fee.


Upon receipt of the correct registration fee, each participant will receive a confirmation of registration. Please bring this confirmation to the registration desk at the conference centre as proof of your registration.

On-site registration hours

The registration desk at the ExCel ICC London will be open during the following hours:

On-site registrations will be accepted but receipt of all congress documents cannot be guaranteed. Please arrive early if you wish to register on-site.

Invitation letter

The organisers will be pleased to send a letter of invitation to any individual requesting one, once their registration form and fee have been received. It is to be understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa. It is not a commitment on the part of the congress to provide any financial support. You may request such a letter from the Administrative Secretariat.

Payment of fees

All fees for congress registration and social events should be paid in Euro (€) in advance to the Administrative Secretariat of the 22nd ECCMID, clearly stating the participant’s name and address. Payment can be effected either by bank transfer (free of charge) to UBS AG, Basel, Account No. 233-503010.61U (Congrex Switzerland Ltd., ECCMID 2012) (IBAN CH47 0023 3233 5030 1061U, BIC UBSWCHZH80A), by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or by bank cheque.

Online payment

If you have received an invoice by postal mail, you can settle the open amount also with your credit card through the following link by indicating the invoice and Id numbers which are stated on the right hand side of your invoice. Please click here to proceed to the Online Payment.


Accredited journalists are welcome to cover the 22nd ECCMID. Please return the special registration form together with a copy of your press ID or register online. You will also be requested to show your press identification upon registration. A fully equipped press centre will be at your disposal during the congress.

Cancellation and refund policy

Refund of registration fees, less 25% administrative charges, can be applied for in writing until 23 February 2012. After this date no refund will be possible. For any change of names, a fee of € 30 will be charged. On-site changes of name badges due to incorrect submission of names and/or address data will be charged with € 10.
