Congress Center Düsseldorf (CCD)

The Congress Center Düsseldorf (CCD) is located on the banks of the Rhine and linked to Messe Düsseldorf exhibition centre, only three kilometers from the airport in Düsseldorf and five kilometers from the Old Town.

To and from the airport
The airport is located only three kilometres from the Congress Center Düsseldorf (CCD). By taxi it takes no more than 10 minutes to reach the CCD and around 20 minutes to the city centre. On Wednesday, 9 September as well as on Saturday, 12 September a free shuttle service will be in operation between the airport and the CCD (shuttle bus every 30 minutes).

Taxis
All taxi companies have a fixed price to/from the airport. The price is € 13. Waiting periods and surcharges are not permitted to be charged additionally to the fixed price for the Congress Center Düsseldorf (CCD).

Arriving by Car

Travelling from the north
Follow the A52 in the direction of Düsseldorf. Change to the A44 in the direction of the airport (Düsseldorf Flughafen). Leave the motorway at the Düsseldorf Stockum exit and follow the signs CCD Süd / CCD Stadthalle.

Travelling from the south
Follow the A57. At Meerbusch switch to the A44 in the direction of the airport (Flughafen). After the tunnel leave the motorway at the Messe / Arena exit and follow the signs CCD Süd / CCD Stadthalle.

Travelling from the east
Follow the A3. At Velbert take the A44 in the direction of the airport (Flughafen). Leave the motorway at the Düsseldorf Stockum exit and follow the signs CCD Süd / CCD Stadthalle.

Travelling from the west
Follow the A57. At Meerbusch switch to the A44 in the direction of the airport (Flughafen). After the tunnel leave the motorway at the Messe / Arena exit and follow the signs CCD Süd / CCD Stadthalle.

From the railway station and city centre

The subway tram lines U78/U79 and bus no. 722 will take you conveniently to the Congress Center Düsseldorf (CCD). Take tram lines U78/U79 and get off at “Messe Ost/Stockumer Kirchstrasse”. From there, it is a 15-minutes walk or 2-minutes drive by the ECTRIMS shuttle bus, across Stockumer Kirchstrasse to the CCD. Alternatively you can take the bus no. 722 to the last stop “CCD Süd/Stadthalle”.

Buses and subway trams run between the station and the CCD at frequent intervals. The trip by subway tram lines U78 and U79 takes about 15 minutes.

ECTRIMS Shuttle Bus The ECTRIMS Shuttle Bus will take you from the tram station “Messe Ost / Stockumer Kirchstrasse” (lines U78/U79) directly to the main entrance at the CCD Süd (frequent shuttle buses).
